Chevy Celebrates 100 Years of Trucks

OKEMOS, Mich., – In 1918, Chevrolet released the Chevy One-Ton, the first all-purpose pickup of its kind. One century and over 85 million trucks later, Chevy celebrates 100 years of trucks with a 100-day celebration to honor the loyalty of Chevy truck owners. The 100-day celebration, hosted at the State Fair of Texas, will have previews of the new Special Edition Chevy trucks, roll out of the new Truck Legends customer loyalty program, and have many more exclusive events throughout the fall!

Chevrolet's 100-day celebration, which began on September 28th, officially introduced the 2018 Silverado and Colorado Centennial Editions. These bold and truly unique special edition trucks come equipped with performance, appearance, and feature upgrades from their standard models. Both the Silverado and Colorado Centennial Edition models will be available in November, but you can get a closer look at their features and specifications on Chevrolet's Centennial Edition page. 

Kicking off the Centennial Celebration, Chevrolet announced the introduction of the Chevy Truck Legends membership program.
