OKEMOS, Mich. – For 2016 a bold new look has arrived for Chevy trucks as Chevrolet presents the new Midnight Special Edition. Trucks featured in the Z71 Midnight Special Edition include the 2016 Silverado 1500, the Silverado 2500 HD, and the 2016 Colorado.

Some Midnight black features include:

• Black side moldings and beltline moldings 
• Black painted alloy wheels 
• Black spray in-bed liner 
• All black Chevrolet bowties for the front and rear 

The Midnight Special Edition trucks are part of a fast growing collection of additional custom trucks. Beginning in 2015 Chevrolet announced special edition trucks including the Silverado Realtree, Silverado Special Ops, and the Colorado Trail Boss. The customized editions helped increase Chevrolet truck sales starting in 2015. All three trucks are included in the customized portfolio with Chevrolet’s new Midnight Special Edition collection.
