OKEMOS, Mich. – At Graff Okemos we are thrilled to announce that we have earned General Motors' 2016 Green Dealer certification! A dealership-wide commitment to eco-friendly efforts has allowed our fantastic team to be recognized as a 2016 GM Green Dealer – a great honor that only select dealerships have achieved. At Graff Chevrolet Okemos we take pride in working with the people in our community to implement green initiatives for a more sustainable environment.
The General Motors Green Dealer certification recognizes dealerships based on their eco-friendly activities within the dealership and in the community. In order to be certified, each dealership is evaluated on established categories including energy use reduction, waste management, renewable energy, water conservation, recycle reuse re-purpose, HVAC, nature habitat, workplace environment, community outreach, and management practices. Once a dealership has been recognized as a Green Dealer they may also qualify for continued participation in the program if additional improvement is achieved.
By successfully implementing green initiatives in 9 out of the 10 categories mentioned above, we have been able to deliver a more sustainable, eco-friendly environment at Graff Chevrolet Okemos. We’re proud to be honored as a 2016 GM Green Dealer, and it is now our goal to continue to earn this recognition year after year by further improving each of our green initiatives.
