Zobrist, outfielder for the Cubs, was named MVP of the series by a media panel and online fan vote. He was presented with a 50th Anniversary Edition Chevrolet Camaro SS from Paul Edwards, Vice President of Chevy Marketing after Wednesday night's game, which lasted 10 innings. Chevrolet has been the Official Vehicle of Major League Baseball for more than 10 years and more than $28 million has been raised to to assist hometown teams in America.
“In this historic matchup, Zobrist’s performance on the field truly embodies the same ‘Never Give Up’ spirit that drives the Chevrolet team to innovate every day and that has made us the Most Awarded Automotive Brand two years in a row,” U.S. vice president of Chevrolet Marketing Paul Edwards said of Zobrist.
This year, the Chevy Camaro turned 50! To honor such a prestigious anniversary, the 2017 Camaro includes features like the unique black leather interior with orange accent stitching, unique grille with satin chrome accents, and the body color front splitter. The Camaro 2LT comes standard with a 2.0L Turbo engine.
