Bolt EV Takes Home Fourth Motor Trend Award in Three Years for Chevrolet

OKEMOS, Mich., – The Bolt EV took home the fourth Motor Trend Award in three years for Chevrolet! It received the 2017 Car of the Year Award from Motor Trend based on it's evaluation in six categories.

The Bolt EV was rated on its advancement in design, engineering excellence, efficiency, safety, value, and performance of intended function. The Chevrolet electric car joins the ranks of the Camaro and Colorado, which were both awarded Car of the Year, and Truck of the Year, respectively. Motor Trend has been a leading brand in automotive media since it's inception in 1949.

The Chevy Bolt EV gets an EPA-estimated range of 238 miles. Chevrolet expects owners to exceed this with regular charging. 

The cost of the Bolt EV is $37,495, not including a possible available federal tax credit of up to $7,500.

The Chevrolet Bolt EV comes with standard Chevrolet features including electronic precision shift, Regen on Demand steering wheel paddle, and color touch screen. Additional available features include leather-appointed seats, front and rear heated seats, Surround Vision, Rear Camera Mirror, and more.
