OKEMOS, Mich.– As the latter half of 2015 kicks in, major automakers are
coming forward with their latest and greatest for the next model year, and
there’s no doubt car enthusiasts are anticipating production of the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro.
According to an inside source from Chevy, you may be able to
pre-order the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro in August, specifically August 13, a much earlier release date than you may have expected. The news comes as a
surprise to many seeing as Chevy neglected to give even a ballpark release date when it officially unveiled the sixth generation Camaro back in May.
First released in 1966, the Camaro has not been so
neck-and-neck with the Ford Mustang as many enthusiasts claim. In fact, you might say the
Camaro has outdone its pony car competitor in regards to design, technology
and, most of all, performance.
Sure, that’s a pretty strident claim, but you don’t need to
hear it from the experts to believe it– the consumers’ wallets do all the talking. Since 2010
the Camaro has outsold the Mustang and proven its preeminence as a pony car, which brings
us back to all of the commotion that you could potentially pre-order the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro this
August.
It’s definitely worth noting that General Motors has in no
way endorsed this rumor, not even releasing a subtle hint that might serve as validation.
However, when information like this hits the streets it’s typically on target,
especially seeing as no one from Chevy has denied the claims.
